29th January 2024 - Women, Girls and Para - 2 Star Event - 16th June - Entry Form
The next Women and Girls Event in Sussex is taking place at the Triangle Leisure Centre on the 16th June, and Sally Hughes has stated that the aim is to reach 100 women/girls playing.
Some Para Events have now been added.

the growing women and girls tournaments has seen Para events added to the event list and Sally is aiming to reach 100 women/girls playing in one place!
16th January 2024 - Worthing TTC - 1 Star Event - 16th December - Results
The Worthing TTC continued its development and growth by hosting its first ranking tournament. There were 55 entries for Junior U19 Girls & Boys and Senior Women & Men categories in the morning. There was also Consolation Events and Open Events in the afternoon. Bly Twomey was the star winning the Women Open and U19 categories and Jake Collins won the Senior Men with Viktor Gusak the Junior Boys.

24th October - Women and Girls 1 Star Event - 22nd October - Results
Another successful Women and Girls Event was held at the Triangle Leisure Centre on Sunday 22nd October and which was promoted by Sally Hughes. A summary of the results can be found below along with a link to more detail including the score sheets. Besides an Open Event there were Under 21 and Over 21 Events. The next Women and Girls Event in Sussex is scheduled for 16th June, 2024.

7th October - Women and Girls 1 Star Event - 22nd October
A reminder that this event is taking place at the Triangle Lesiure Centre, Burgess on the 22nd October. The schedule includes Women and Girls Under 21s & Over 21s in the morning and from 1.45pm Women and Girls Open (All Ages). The Entry Forms are on the TTE Website to be downloaded but can also be found here: Entry Form. The Closing Date is the 15th October.
Previous events held in Sussex and sponsored by TTE via Sally Hughes have been very successful and it is also a chance for those new to Tournaments to enter and gain experience about such events.
5th July - Women and Girls 2 Star Event - 1st July - Results
There was a fantastic entry for the Women and Girls event held at the Triangle Leisure Centre on the 1st July. The event was promoted and organised by Sally Hughes with much help and assistance from Brett Holt and Matthew Porter and held under the Sussex Banner. Unfortunately, yours truly could not make it on the day as part of the ornaising team since away Sailing (which was not planned when this event was scheduled!)

31st May - Women and Girls 2 Star Event - 1st July
A reminder that Sussex is hosting a Women and Girls 2 Star Event at the Triangle Leisure Centre on Saturday 1st July. The entry form can be found on the following link: Sussex Women and Girls Summer 2* - Table Tennis England

31st January 2023 - Schools - Level 1 Women only Coaching Course
The NGB, Table Tennis England, are offering 50% bursary towards any women who wishes to take their Level 1 Coaching Course This is a huge opportunity to get the qualification and support the sport in your school or group. 17th January, 2023 - Women and Girls 1 Star Events
Further to the news item on the 6th November which contained the results of the first Women's and Girls Event 1 Star event at the Triangle on the 5th November, there is also a report on the TTE Website as follows:

In the 6th November news item there was also mention of the next Women and Girls event in Sussex on the 1st July, 2023 and this can now be confirmed. It is now a 2 Star and is being held again at the Triangle Leisure Centre, Burgess Hill and the please see the Entry Form.
Further events, and dates for your diaries, are planned for 22nd October 2023 (1 Star) and 16th June 2024 (2 Star), and both are again at the Triangle Leisure Centre
6th November 2022 - Women and Girls 1 Star Event - 5th November - Results
There were 61 entries to the Women and Girls only 1 star event held at the Triangle Lesiure Centre on Sunday 5th November. The winner of the main Open and Over 21 events was Ayano Takeda from the United States and who has her own podcast and followers in the millions on YouTube! We had to work around her clearing up as she was producing a podcast! It was a great event and there are others planned in England but the next one in Sussex is potentially the 1st July although yet to be confirmed. 4th November 2022 - Women and Girls 1 Star Event - 5th November - Triangle Leisure Centre
There is a staggering 59 entries for the Women and Girls 1* event being held at the Triangle tomorrow Saturday 5th November from 9 am, and Sally Hughes has been instrumental in getting the entries - please see the TTE link below. Sally, Brett Holt and myself are looking forward to administrating this event!

12th August 2022 - Women and Girls 1 Star Event - Results
Thanks to the hard work of Sally Hughes in obtaining funding from TTE and much communication and energy she has achieved in creating the very first Women and Girls 1 Star Tournament to be approved by TTE. It was held at the Triangle Leisure Centre on the 2nd July and there were 6 events - Under 21, Over 21 and Open with consolation events for each. There was a good standard with some 30 plus players and it was held under the County Banner with funds ring-fenced. Sussex Players were well represented and Jodie Morris from Sussex won the Under 21 Event. Ewelina Sychta won both the Over 21 and Open. There was also a Sportswomen Award for Karin Kunrath.

Another Event is scheduled for the 5th November again at the Triangle Leisure Centre, and please see the Entry Form . It is planned that Over 21/Over 21 Events are held am with an Open for all ages pm. Entry Fee is £10 for am events and £10 for pm event.
